Ninety people, seventeen ideas, two hours to ship. Live raffle, parallel builds, and a vote at the end.
What happened
Hosted together with our partner network Crypto Ħub Malta. Ninety people, sixteen builders, seventeen ideas. The raffle matched ideas to builders live, then everyone had two hours to ship. Drinks in hand, screens open, builds happening across the room at once. At the end, every builder presented for two minutes and the room voted. We learned a lot about what people want to build and what fits in a two-hour box. The format exists to make one point clearly: the distance from idea to working product is shorter than most people think. We're proud of what every builder shipped that night.
The 2-hour build challenge
Anyone could submit an app idea through our web app. At the start of the night, ideas were randomly assigned to builders in a live raffle. Two hours to turn someone else's idea into something that works. At the end, everyone voted. Prizes went to the best build and to the person whose idea inspired it.

A minimalist app that helps people in Malta stay compliant: smart deadline notifications, document and form delivery, follow-up reminders, and AI-drafted emails to the Tax Office.
Just Say It: Voice to Text Clean & Share
Speak like an idiot, send like a pro. Talk freely, no thinking, and the app turns it into a clean message you can share on WhatsApp or Telegram. Optional styles: short, friendly, professional, wtf.
Crane Spotting
A casual mobile game that turns Malta's construction cranes into points. Spot a crane, drop a pin with photo and GPS, climb the leaderboard. First spotter gets 3 points, others get 1.
SideQuest App
People get lost in work, the gym and sleep, and forget to have fun. An interactive map of fun activities in or around your city, gamified and social, so you actually go and do them.
Give an AI a Local Browser Body
A safe, limited way for an AI to inhabit a real local browser session and reach the live web. It can visit sites that block bots, click and read pages, all without getting shell or file access to the rest of the machine.
Distribution Management
One tool to manage and analyse your ads across channels like Facebook and Pinterest. A single simplified dashboard so a business can see which angles are weak and which to play harder.
SmoothMatch: Purposeful AI Networking
An AI that solves the problem of missing valuable connections at events. Input what you're looking for and what you can offer; the AI explains exactly why you should meet that person, giving you the perfect icebreaker.
Legal updates
A tool that advises professionals about regulatory updates as soon as authorities publish them, for example evolving crypto laws across different jurisdictions.
Job search engine
AI agents that help job seekers find the best opportunities across jurisdictions or worldwide, reviewing open vacancies and spotting trends in skills required.

Upload a pitch deck or CV and get grilled by a four-character panel, each picking it apart from a different angle. Respond, watch them push back or concede, walk away with a prioritised list of fixes.

A lightweight voice assistant for small retailers. Ask the POS in natural language. "How many bottles of Coke are left?", or "add 2 bread and 1 milk to sales", and get an instant response.
